Sebagai sarana pelayanan kesehatan, rumah sakit merupakan tempat berkumpulnya
orang sakit maupun orang sehat, atau dapat menjadi tempat penularan penyakit serta
memungkinkan terjadinya pencemaran lingkungan dan gangguan kesehatan. Adanya tuntutan
untuk memberikan pelayanan yang lebih baik, pihak rumah sakit perlu mengutamakan image
manajemen rumah sakit, sehingga menimbulkan kepuasan pasien. Salah satu hal yang perlu
diperhatikan oleh pihak rumah sakit yaitu kenyamanan lingkungan fisik ruang rawat inap.
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan kenyamanan lingkungan fisik ruang rawat
inap dengan kepuasan pasien.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode analitik kuantitatif dengan
pendekatan crossectional. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah pasien rawat inap di Ruang
Kenanga yang merupakan pasien kelas III sebanyak 62 pasien. Teknik pengambilan sampel
Non Random Sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah 46 orang. Analisisi
data menggunakan uji Chi Square. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa
ada hubungan kondisi kebisingan dengan kepuasan pasien di Ruang Rawat Inap Kelas III
Ruang Kenanga RSUD Kabupaten Ciamis dengan nilai p sebesar 0,001, tidak ada hubungan
kondisi pencahayaan dengan kepuasan pasien dengan nilai p sebesar 0,900, dan ada
hubungan kondisi suhu udara dengan kepuasan pasien dengan nilai p sebesar 0,01.
Hendaknya pihak rumah sakit perlu mengatur jadwal besuk agar kebisingan di ruang
perawatan dapat dihindari, selain itu juga pencahayaan ruangan perlu ditambahkan lampu
agar pencahayaan sesuai persyaratan pencahayaan rumah sakit. Kondisi suhu udara pun perlu
mendapatkan perhatian, karena berhubungan dengan masalah kenyamanan pasien, sehingga
perlu adanya penambahan kipas angin sesuai dengan luas ruangan dan posisi tempat tidur.

As a health service facility, a hospital is a place where the sick and health
people gather around or it could be a place of communicating disease and it may a
place that causes environment pollution and health problems. The demand to provide
a better service, the hospital management needs to prioritize such a hospital
management image that it creates the patients’ satisfaction. One of the things that
must be considered by the hospital management is the comfort of physical
environment of ward. The objective of this research is to find out the relationship
between the comfort of physical environment of ward and the patients’ satisfaction.
The research method used in this research was the quantitatif analytic method
with cross-sectional approach. Whereas, the population were 62 patients of Kenanga
Ward Class III. The sampling technique used in this research was Non Random
Sampling by purposive sampling technique of 46 patients. The data analysis used was
the test of Chi Square.
Based on the result of this research, it showed that there was a relationship
between the noise condition and the patients’ satisfaction in the Kenanga Ward Class
III in Ciamis General Hospital with the p value of 0,001, no relationship between
lighting condition and the patients’ satisfaction with the p value of 0,900, and there
was a relationship between temperature condition and the patients’ satisfaction with
the p value of 0,01.
It was recommended that the hospital management should manage the visiting
schedule in order to avoid the noise in the ward, besides that it was also necessary to
add some lamps to adjust the lighting room in accordance with the lighting standard
of a hospital. It also needed to pay attention to the temperature condition as it related
to the patients’ comfort, and the additional fans should be appropriate with the room
space.
