DESCRIPTION OF QUALITY ANTENATAL CARE SERVICES AND
PREGNANT WOMEN SATISFACTION TO ANTENATAL CARE SERVICES
IN PUBLIC HEALTH CISAYONG TASIKMALAYA 2018

Maternal health improvement efforts are a program that should get special
attention to reduce mortality rates, one of the ways to achieve them is with improved
antenatal care services. This research aims to know description of quality antenatal
care service and satisfaction pregnant women to ANC in public health Cisayong
2018. The benefits of this research are expected to be a reference and add information
to improve the quality of obstetric services.
This research is a quantitative descriptive research method, the population of
this research is the entire 3
rd
trimester pregnant woman in public health Cisayong.
This research uses Purposive Sampling technique that is using as many as 20 people.
Instrument of data collection using the checklist and questionnai res.
Results of the data analysis about the antenatal care service quality based in the
category are not qualified that is 75.0% concerning of pregnant women satisfaction
based on dimension of tangible categories less satisfied 55.0%, dimensions of
reliability categories satisfied 65.0%, dimension of responsiveness satisfied category
50.0%, dimension of assurance satisfied category 90.0%, and dimensions of empathy
are satisfied that is 70.0%.
In conclusion, the ANC services based on standard service on the category does
not include 10T quality, satisfaction of pregnant women ANC services against based
on all the dimensions of the quality of the service is at a satisfactory category, except
in dimensions tangible results with less satisfactory. Advice for mid wives is running
ANC standard and improve the medical infrastructure so that it can give comfort
against patients who are doing the screening.
